All re-sizing includes a full clean and polish of your ring, this includes rhodium plating where necessary. Any loose stones after a re-size will also be checked and tightened before your ring is returned to you. Prices do depend on the style of your piece and the kind of alteration you need. Of course, it’s not just rings that can become too loose, too tight or worn. Necklaces, bracelets, and anklets also need to be resized and repaired from time to time. There are several approaches we can take, from adding, removing or re-soldering links, changing or replacing the clasp on your chain, or something else entirely. We will consult with you to find the solution you’re happiest with.

If your watch has a metal strap, it’s not easy to adjust the size. Typically, you need to remove a link if you want to make it smaller or add a link to get a wider strap. Leather straps can offer you more adjustment in regard to sizing, however these can also sometimes need extra holes punched to ensure a perfect fit. At Chapter 79, we can help with all your resizing needs, carefully removing or adding watch links while keeping the rest of the watch intact.
